ASKED GENERAL MANDATE TO STRIKE

The Secretary-General of the CGIL, Susanna Camusso, asked the Board to mandate the Secretariat to the Confederal proclaim a general strike at the end of the mobilization against the policies of the Government started months ago, or indicate a date, preferably a Saturday, for a national demonstration. This is confirmed by sources in the course of the review of Italy, while it is still ongoing meeting of the Board. The Board opened yesterday and is being held behind closed doors.
The general strike is called in a loud voice from the minority of the CGIL and the Fiom, against separate agreements and the attack on workers' rights and the national contract sferrato da Fiat e Confindustria. La federazione della conoscenza ha convocato il suo sciopero per il 21 marzo e la funzione pubblica per il 25. Le tute blu della Fiom hanno già scioperato il 28 gennaio .
